Lucio Franceschini is a Data Processing Software Engineer at Rayference. He has an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Padova, where he graduated in July 2020. He focalized his studies in space applications and space sensors, with many activities of data elaboration for engineering purposes. He developed his Master’s Thesis as an Erasmus student at the Technische Universität München, at the RACOON-Lab laboratory under the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy, where he designed, implemented, and tested a toolchain for data recording and processing for stereo cameras and LIDAR for short-range satellites operations in the context of an active space debris mission removal. During his studies worked as a freelance Python developer, and after his graduation, he was employed as an Aerospace Software Engineer at TXT e-solutions S.p.A., where he was tasked with maintaining and improving a Flight Management System simulator for helicopters. His role on the project will be to manage and support the CISAR/GEDAP processing toolchain for the analysis of the data.
