Marta Luffarelli is a Managing Partner at Rayference. She has a M.Sc in Electronic Engineering in 2016 from Sapienza University of Rome. Her studies focused on remote sensing and telecommunication. She developed her master thesis at Telespazio VEGA Deutschland Gmbh in Darmstadt, Germany. During her stay at Telespazio she worked on the Sentinel-2 Level-2A processor, developing scientific software and gaining experience in scene classification and atmospheric correction. She joined Rayference in 2016 as a Remote Sensing Scientist and she was promoted as Managing partner in 2022.

Her role in the project will be to adapt the CISAR algorithm for the processing of SPOT-V and PROBA-V data. She has already applied the CISAR algorithm for the processing of SEVIRI data in the context of the aerosol_cci project and of PROBA-V data in the context of the PV-LAC study.
